Even before opening the thread, I knew Romania was going to feature. Not a new story, so many eastern European Nations are just !ove poverty line. Just above but in Nigeria, way way below.

If your not an illiterate you will know they're in eastern europe which is not considered as the western world(main europe).

WHat are you lot saying? Spain, Greece, Italy and France are in serious economic trouble and people can hardly eat 3 square meals a day. Even the UK now is on the edge. There is serious poverty in Europe and the truth is, their system is failing. Even the US has rising poverty rates. People now eat from the rubbish bin. There was a news item last week of a police woman who gave a woman thief 100 dollars to feed her children, instead of arresting her for theft because she was just too touched. Those who say the @op is lying are either Nigerians in diaspora who want people to believe all is well or Nigerians back home who still think traveling abroad is the solution to the predicaments

America i can understand but everything you said about Europe is extremely misguided, I was born and raised in UK and currently live in kensington and yes you are correct it's extremely hard abroad but to make things clearer to you I studied economics for over 7 years and i have never read such misguided sentence, Greece was suffering economic crises early on but that has passed Italy and France are still making a lot of money and economically get stronger but not as they were a few years ago. To make things clear to you poverty in Spain is highly unlikely to be found of and spain is one out of a very few countries in the world where the government is paying people to have children because the population of spain is decreasing extremely fast because the people are getting richer and now do not need to children to rely on.The british enforced a law in 2007 which states anyone who is a british citizen is entitled to a living space and now it's nearly impossible to see people living on the streets anymore. One more thing, people are not finding it hard to eat three square meals in the those countries you mentioned because nearly all european countries have something called living benefits and benefits is a free payout of money to citizens who do not have a job,medical healthcare and free food for children at school(primary and secondary schools in europe are free).
