Man has been waging war against Malaria for decades but yet man cannot boast to have won the war as the parasitic plasmodium protozoans seem to be gaining ground through developing resistant strains, the high proliferation rate and spread of the female Anopheles mosquitoes who are effective vectors in the spread of the infection, the growing emergence of fake and substandard insecticides and antimalarial flooding the market and largely due to gross poverty in the land.

One of the soldiers of this generation who has decided to join the battalion to wage a winning war against the epidermic is Pharm. Livy-Elcon Emereonye as he organised a public presentation and launching of his new book titled: MALARIA WAR- the winning strategies on 26th Oct. 2013 at Intro Lounge & Bar. Ikeja, Lagos.
