I rented a newly completed two bedroom apartment where i was told by the landlord that the prepaid meter is under process and it will take few months to be available and since then i have been on estimation.Suddenly to my surprise,my landlord called me one day asking me to buy a meter for my own flat contrary to the initial agreement we had and am confused as to whose responsibility it is,he further said that the meter should be registered in his own name so that when am moving out i may not go with it. My beloved forum members,pls advice me on whose responsibility is to buy the metre.
