The number of billionaires on the continent increased from Sixteen (16) to Twenty-Seven(27). Nigeria Richest and Cement Magnate Aliko Dangote tops the whole continent with over $20.8 billion – $8.8 billion more than in November 2012. Mrs Folorunsho Alakija also features on the list with a net worth at $2.5 billion, up from $600 million a year ago. One of Africa’s Newest Billionaire is the chairman of Bua Group, Abdul Salam Rabiu with a Net worth of $1.2 Billon. Globacom Chairman and CEO, Mike Adenuga is Fifth in Africa with a net worth of $4.6 Billion. Other Nigerians on the list are Jim Ovia (Zenith Group), Oba Otudeko (Honeywell group), Theophilus Danjuma (Oil Magnate), Hakeem Bello Osagie (Etisalat Nigeria), Femi Otedola (Zenon Group), Tunde Folawiyo ( Son Of Wahab Folawiyo,Yinka Folawiyo Group), Sani Bello (Amni International Petroleum Development Co.)
