My car a manual transmission does not engage gear1 except it nt on motion same ting with gear 3 and gear 5 I dnt realy knw what the matter is it became worst after I changed my upper clutch 2days ago de car has become so disgusting a toyota.. |

Have you checked your manual gearbox oil yet? Gears 1,3 and 5 could be on the upper chamber of the gearbox where there may not be enough oil to lubricate the synchromesh gears. As you can see that the odd numbers are the ones affected. Car-Doctor. |
