Yes; someone was telling me that the uni i graduate from really matters to employers.
Look at this case:
Okoro finished from FED UNI OF TECH YOLA chemical engineering with a first class of degree and Adams finished from Unizik with same class of degree in same course.. My guy was saying that Adams will be employed b4 okoro even if he graduated with a 2nd class upper.

He was trying to emphasize dat '' the skool one finishes from really matters during employment. Is this true

Oh yes its the gospel truth because top federal universities in nigeria isn't that easy to be admitted into and popularly known for competition amongst themselves,so imagine yourself getting a degree from either UNIBEN,UNILAG OAU,UI,UNILORIN,(UNIZIK commercialized),NSSUKA compared to students from other state uni or private uni,you have an upper hand securing a job over them but then again,it also depends on what you got in your head and not the school written in you certificate #IRepUnibest
