This is the performance appraisal exercise for all commercial banks in Nigeria. Kindly read this and tell me the 5 banks that score highest

Enjoy reading….

BANK PHB
If you say Bank PHB is the highest paying you make me laugh. See they will just tell u the good part of it, they are leaving out the negatives.
Do you know that in the same Bank PHB, you only earn the percentage of the branch target that was met for that month? If you branch makes 75% in target and profitability, then you are going to earn 75% of your salary, be it business developers (marketers) or support guys (operations).
=> Not among top 3 bank( when you take away productivity)
=>bank doing well because of Ya’aduas influence (owns 3per cent share)
=>employ more contract staff than most bank
=>Don’t have policies of their own, imitate other banks
=> Promotion not assured, in Gods hands

FIRST BANK
Entry level for 1ST BANK is 104k and it is a less stressful place to work. this is because they have cheap funds ---- monies of our great grandfathers who are dead & we are not even aware of (ie monies of the deads). The amalgamation of this funds over the decade makes 1st bank a big bank, thereby putting less stress on their biz developers. they are really being proactive and dynamic nowadays.
 Always backward in staff welfare, staff need to wait till retirement age before reap fruit of labour
 Train most of other bank staff
 Only the hardworking staff can boast of own house(after at least 10 yrs of dedicated service)
 80 percent of staff are Bank worker, not Bankers
 Promotion comes after 4 or 5 yrs

INTERCONTINENTAL BANK
 Pay but unsecured work.
 Staff gets fires even at the slightest of mistake
 Always claim to be highest paying but 6th when performance is taken away
 Unnecessarily burden all staff on targets and charge staff who are unable to meet target
 Only this months salary is sure, next month’s own is in Gods hand
 Promotion is averagely ok

ZENITH BANK
 Zenith pay is quite small at entry level
 Promotion is across board unlike other places where promotion is based on performance. Zenith promotes you for your effort and also promotes at times for you to be geared to be like top performers though you're not performing very well,
 Have a sound IT in place and their staff are proud of their Bank.
 Staff got salary slashed after December 24th “salary review” (average staff earn half of what was taken home earlier)

 GT Bank is a very classy place to work.
 Have quite a sizeable number of contract staff as support.
 Promotion is rest assured.
 Staff are very proud of their bank
 Very low staff turnover
 Very excellent customer service but reverse is case from their contract staff

OCEANIC
 2nd highest paying bank
 Roughly 90k at the beginning for 6months, before you are upgraded from PIT to AO and you start earning up to 156k in a month.
 Pay less attention to the quality of staff they recruit, as well as their IT
 Always having FINACLE DOWN TIME.
 Always having crowded and unorganized banking hall ( this scare away other customers)
 Staff are well paid but negative attitude to work is more
 Staff more conscious about next salary review than meeting monthly targets
FCMB
 Promotion always not across board
 Place entry level guys can start from
 Staff not proud of their bank
 Entry level is 160k per month before confirmation. Immediately you are confirmed, your monthly pay drops to 87k but the remaining part is paid as quarterly pay every three months. This is usually up to 220k. You also have access to 80k line of medical services. They have a superb IT facility and their staff are highly knowledgeable.

 Have contract staff too(75 percent of their staff is contract)
 staff are bank worker, not bankers (staff are unnecessarily over-stressed)
 They all look well paid. Entry level is now N154k+ 15k lunch(N169k). + Honda City car for all entry level staff@N23,000 per month for 4yrs

 Highest paying bank entry is 3.7m
 Though one-man business that is not quoted on the stock market floor but very reliable and strong just like sister companies (Globacom & Conoil)
 No good welfare package for their contract staff-----basalt staff
 Now run advert on AIT, AFRICA MAGIC & NTA—Glory be to God!
 Potential of being of the top 3 (in the next 5 yrs)

UNION BANK

 Very resistant to changes
 No new innovation for past 10 yrs
 Staff are poorly paid (like fed govt ministries)
 No age limit for staff that work here( can see 80yr old in Cubicle)
 Deposits mainly from wealth of dead grand pas & nas
 Poor recruitment structure

UBA
 Have good work environment

 Poor service delivery
 Promotion is assured and by merit
 Good internal structure but lack enough resources

I don't know much about the following. ------ Fidelity, Eco, Unity,
