There is no doubt that Facebook is still the leading social network, you might find it hard to come to terms with the reality, but the recently published info graphic proves Facebook worthy. Kudos should be awarded to the social network company for its consistency and eagerness to remain a top player in the industry. Some people had prophesied that Facebook might follow the footsteps of MySpace after the presence of the other social network companies and it is fascinating to know that that the company is rather climbing the success ladder.
Facebook Allows You Save Your Links to Read LaterIn case, you do not know, perhaps this is the best time to know – Twitter has not reached Facebook’s level of influence, not just yet. So far in 2013, Facebook’s revenue tops $5.3 billion. Twitter, in turn, generated $422 million dollars. When it comes to active monthly users, Facebook’s base of almost 1.2 billion trounces Twitter’s 232 million.
Facebook is presently testing a “save for later” feature. This allows you to save a link you find fascinating, knowing fully well that there are times we are skimming our app at a spare minute because we are busy.
It was also gathered that the Facebook feature differs in significant ways. As, the feature permits you to save more than just articles – As you can save other plans or things you want to do. Perhaps, people can call it a social To Do list.


In continuation, the feature permits you to do whatever later reading you want to do within Facebook – That allows Facebook to monitor and monetize your reading behaviour. What experts do not know yet is, if this feature will allow people to read and save these fascinating saved links when they are offline.
It is important to remind you that this is not the first time Facebook is testing the idea. However, there is a guess that sooner than later Facebook will be releasing this feature for all to utilize. It is gathered that this idea was first cropped up on a version of the Facebook app for iPhone and iPad in 2012.
