Welcome To The Future!Amazon CEO, Jeff Bezos,just killed postal and delivery services game and most likely made executives at FedEx and UPS pretty nervous.
Bezos has unveiled Amazon prime air, a service that delivers package within an autonomous drone. The unmanned drone are expected to deliver packages to customer within 30 minutes of the time they place an order and could roll out as early as 2015....Is this real?
This is how it works..

The package is pulled off the line by octocopter, and then using GPS it is delivered to the delivery address. When it arrives, it releases the package at the doorstep. Because the octocopter has eight blades, if one breaks, Bezos said, the drone will still be able to drop off package safely.

Well, we will have to wait to have our packages delivered via futurisitc magic. Bezos and his team have to figure out how to ensure that the boxes are not dropping out of the sky and onto our heads...lol. Another question is what if when the witch drone arrives, and there's nobody around to receive the package. Should we then hold amazon responsible for any loss of product?
