Folawemi Taiwo Okunniyi and Febisola
Kehinde Okunniyi Chinonso Akinade
Okueze and Chibuzor Adelakin Okueze,
have earned themselves a spot in the
Guinness book of Records, for being
the first set of identical twins to get
married in Africa.
The Nigerian couples who hail from
Ondo and Delta states tied the knot
recently at Foursquare Gospel Church,
Omole, Ikeja and had their reception at
the 10 Degree Events Centre in
Oregun, Lagos have also occupied the
251st position in the world.
During the church wedding, officials of
the Guinnes Book of World Records
acknowledged that they have never
had any record or history of twins’
marriage in Africa.
