THE TOOL OF DECEPTION
‘’And the serpent said unto the woman,
ye shall not surely die; for God doth
know that in the day ye eat thereof,
then your eyes shall be opened and ye
shall be as gods…’’ Genesis 3:4-5
Words are the forces that flow in the
spirit realm to determine what happens
in the physical; because words are
spirits. Satan use deceptive words too to
lure people into the trap he has set for
them.
Any word that brings doubt about God’s
word is a deceptive word of Satan, no
matter who said it. Any word that steals
your peace is sponsored by the devil. Any
word that dampens your joy can never
come from God but from the enemy. Any
word that breaks your focus is a
deceptive word, no matter how it was
said or who said it. Words that bring
fear are words of deception. So you need
to discern this tool of the devil so that
you can overcome it. Hear this: Satan is
a liar and what ever he says is a lie.
Knowing the truth is the only way to
discovering a lie when it comes. So be on
your guard against words of deception.
They appeal to your senses but negate the
word of God. They present what the flesh
likes but it is against the state of your
spirit. Be watchful against words that are
not in agreement with God’s word to you.
Emotional or sentimental words that are
not scriptural are deceptive words.
Carnal or psychological words that
appeals to your mind but contrary to the
written word of God are deceptive words.
Some scriptures can be twisted, but
because there are no other scriptural
witnesses to it and because they are not
consistent with the ways of God, that
makes them deceptive. Don’t be deceived!
Study for yourself what is written in the
scriptures with an open mind, and God
will deliver you from deceptive words. Be
conscious about obeying God and He will
send one of His proven servants to guide
you out of every deception. God’s help
will be made available for you, only if
you seek to please Him always.
Treasure For Today:
Knowing the truth is the only way to
discovering a lie when it comes.
Assignments:
(1) Prayerfully concentrate when studying
your Bible from today.
(2) Compare messages you heard or books
you read with the scriptures to establish
the truth you need for your life.
Prayer:
I won’t be a victim of deception. Lead me
away from sources of deception in Jesus
name. Amen.
