Custom-Built Business Solutions and Services has confirmed the award of licence for Internet service rollout to it by the Nigerian Communications Commission.

A statement from the firm, which confirmed the development, quoted the Chief Executive Officer, CBSSNG, Mr. Bobby Aluko, as saying that the move was aimed at filling the gap that had been created by incessant disruptions in Internet services in Nigeria.

Aluko said, “We at CBSSNG, while taking a close look at Internet service delivery in Nigeria and other allied Information Technology services, came to a painful conclusion that subscribers are not getting value for money.

“In such a technologically fast-paced world, and especially as the world has become a global community, Nigeria must not be left behind in tapping the access to adequate information flow through the super highway that Internet service provision offers.

We have deployed veritable platforms of business engagement even as we are resourced with world-class equipment and unequalled technological knowhow.”

The firm, which came into being in October 2012, said having received the NCC’s approval, it was committed to offering a seamless flow of Internet service at affordable cost to corporate organisations, student community and research institutions.

The firm said its take-off point was Ibadan, South-West Nigeria, and that plans were in advanced stage to spread across all the geopolitical zones of Nigeria.
