Tarkwa Circuit court has sentenced Philip Osei Tutu, a 38-year old pastor of the Abuakwa branch of Miracle House Ministry in the Ashanti Region, to 20 years imprisonment with hard labour for raping a 19-year old deaf and dumb woman who is seven months pregnant. According to report, the accused on December 1 went for preaching and deliverance in Asankra-Saa and on December 3, the victim and her colleague Rita Adofo were walking by when the pastor called and told them that Adofo will not live to celebrate the Christmas festivity and Arthur will also not have safe delivery.
