, there re few observations I noted from Basel experiences in this ongoing UEFA champions league that super eagle must learn from. Yes Basel won Chelsea the strongest opposition in the group home and away , yet they failed to advance to the round of sixteen (16). Reasons are.

1. Over confidence : after winning Chelsea at the Stanford bridge, they thought winning the rest of their matches would be like bed of roses.

2. Wrong thinking mentally: they thought the group was all about winning Chelsea, and winning Chelsea alone would qualify them to the next round, but did not.

3. Inconsistency: team Basel was very inconsistent ,they based their efforts on winning Chelsea only, and felt reluctant in the rest of their matches.

4. Focus: they set their focus only on winning Chelsea, yes they did won , but winning Chelsea wasn't good enough to advance them to the next stage.

5: narrow previews: they previewed all mouriho's matches , I guessed since the beginning of coaching career, they knew all his weaknesses and how to beat him flawlessly, yes that was achieved , but winning Chelsea wasn't good enough to advance to the next stage.

6. Based efforts: they based all efforts on a single team, rather than basing it in all oppositions.

7. Values: they placed their values on winning a team , rather than placing it in qualifying to the next round.

8. Goals: their goal was to win Chelsea by all possible means and was not to qualify.

9.Pride. after winning Chelsea at Stanford bride, their ego aroused and they over looked the rest oppositions.

10: revenge: after losing to Chelsea in the Europa cup final last year, they saw this as an opportunity to revenge. In other to achieve that is beating Chelsea home and away. Yes it was achieved, but modern football is all about winning a tournament and not about winning a team.

From point 10, super eagles has played with Argentina in USA1994, KOREA/JAPAN 2002, SOUTH AFRICA 2010, and they have lost in all . In my humble logomachy without logo-partial, I'm suggesting that keshi should erased history and revenge from his mind. himself and his lads should go out to enjoy good football and play in all matches minute by minute till the last minute.
We should not pre-assume 6points from Bosnia and Iran, let's go and play with them, in all we could and not going with the mind set of teaching them a lesson.
Keshi should let pride aside, he shouldn't go out to Brazil as giant of Africa, otherwise he should take the boys there as Nigeria (super eagles). more so input some technicalities by bringing more exposed player like, the uche brother's, Osazee, and taiwo.

Keshi shouldn't base his focus on whom to play next, but focus more on the match at hand. In most cases Nigerians like to assume too much, like "make we just quick beat Bosnia, make we to teach Spain lessons as we take beat them for France 1998."

Above all I say good luck and fresh air to the eagles in Brazil in 2014.
