a friend of myn asked mi if uniben accepts the combination of two gce's (2 waec gce).... like 2012 and 2013...PLS??

pls those that have clerance date on 26th or 30th of january does it mean they wont resume with other freshers on 10th of january or will resume with the staylites on the 17th of january or will resume on their clearance date. cc Godwin10, Quartermaine nd others

The ball is in your court man.. Resume before or on your clearance date is the same thing.. Nothing concerns you and staylites.. You have to be cleared before you become a student of Uniben..

If you want my advise.. Resume before and get acquainted with the school, you might even start lectures before that 26th..

Issuance of Temporary accommodation to freshers will start on the 4th of January.. If you come before 4th you will have to look for somewhere else to stay till 4th..

All you have to do is apply when ever you resume smiley

That is when the hostel has been opened by 4th

About hostel accomodation, you shouldn't be worried. Lemme break it down like a newbie.
Temporary Hostel Accomodation Guide For Dummiescheesy
1.Once you made it to the school gate, you will be welcomed to the University Of Benin by the security officials. shocked
2. Look at your extreme right, you will find a green park built by Fidelity Bank where buses are lined up to carry students to their destinations.
3.Walk straight to one of the drivers,ask of hall 1 or hall 2 (for girls) while for boys ask of (hall3 or hall4) [no one will slap you] grin ...
4. The cost to your destination is 20naira, no go do JJC cheesy ...
5. On your arrival, ask of the hall admins, we staylites call them Portals.
6. Tell any of them on seat, you are a new student and will like to procure a hostel space.
7. You will be asked to provide proof of your admission, {do not start crying} angry . Show them your admission slip or something as a proof.
8.You will have to fill your name and details on a register book and a space will be allocated to you.
9.Pack your luggages yourself, no hall admin will help you undecided , then try to locate your room.

That's all wink , but take note am not the dean of students cheesy , until he gives a directive for such action to take place, am sorry you will have to find some other alternative. grin

Lest I forget, do not go to Ekosodin o, except you know a relative or someone there, that makes it no. 10.

Sure, you can attend lectures. Your forms will be approved early if the level of your case is minimal else it will supercede the matric date. Just be certain that you will still be cleared. Some folks just ended their clearance before the beginning of second semester exams, so please try to identify your problem fast and deal with it.

For the former.. Yes
For the latter.. I really can't say when the forms will be approved but be rest assured that it takes time..
