A Quick Service Restaurant company urgently requires the services of a Purchasing Officer.

Responsibilities
• Negotiate for best purchasing package (in terms of quality, price, term, delivery and service) with suppliers and sub-contractors assigned.
• Responsible for the preparation and process purchase orders and documents in accordance with company policies and procedures
• Schedule store visits and conduct competitor survey
• Purchase and issue order in accordance to specification
• Evaluating of suitable quotations from the vendors in order to mitigate cost and to provide quality service
• Ensure all procurement activities are in line with the company procurement policy
• Monitor and co-ordinate deliveries of items between suppliers
• Evaluating of suitable quotations from the vendors in order to mitigate cost and to provide quality service
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery

Person Specification
• The applicant must have a BSc or HND in Purchasing and Supply, Accounting, Economics etc
• She/he must have a 3 years relevant experience working in the Quick Service Restaurant or Food Production Industry
• Membership of Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply will be an added advantage
• Must posses numeric and analytical skills
• Good interpersonal skills
