ok.. Its like GPA just that u don't factor in d courses credit units, u assume each course is one unit and u calculate. Assuming: PCG201-A, PCL201-B, PHC202-C,PHA201-B and PHA202-B. Its gonna be 5+4+3+4+4=20/5 =4.0. The 5 is coming from d total no of courses offered.

I wanted to be a law maker(paliarmentarian) buh looks like UI had to push d cutoff mark higher than i ever imagined. GEJ never read pol science, he became d president. Pls try to get d coc form. Educational courses are gooood and still better to cope with than these russian, german and co.... If UI gives me pol science dis week fine!. But if not, i pray she gives me any of my fall back courses. Am even starting to like my educational course. Why didn't i think of it sef??. Babe, try to get d coc form,it costs you nothing atall.....just sha get the admission, except u're under 20 sha...den wait till nextyear..hope dey won't increase it to 80.

Marc9: Well, in UI, Inter-Faculty transfer is almst impossible, tho they allowed it b4, bt it created problems for them, so they stopped it. The only transfer allowed is Intra-Faculty(dept to dept, within d same faculty, whch ar related), and also in d case of withdrawal(where med&surg stdnts who are withdrawn are thrown to oda dept eida within it's confinement, or oda faculties like science and education).
Thus, the only fall back course u cld choose to stand a chance to re-align with ur desired course(mbbs) is vet medicine, cos they basically offer d same courses in part1and part2, and are close cousins!

Well, vet medicine is among d fall back courses, just dat ur chances of securing dat vet med is very slim, cos a lot of mbbs candidates dat scored higher dan u did wld hv trooped to vet medicine. And u knw hw UI does her admission, it's strictly merit based(as she claims). Those who scored above 70 but below 80 wld be chosen ahead of u, and u mite be left out.

My advice for u is to seek solace in less competitive course and try again at mbbs in d next admission

Hypothetically speaking, if mbbs had a quota of 60, and 100 candidates applied for mbbs, with only 60 chosen. If d remaining 40 resorted to fall back courses with half of dem(20) hoping to cross over to mbbs in 200level, hw wld UI accomodate d 20 candidates into medicine wen d essence of admitting just 60 was due to limited capacity(quota).

So u see, it's a dream far fetched, cos at d end, none of u hoping to cross over wld get to cross to medicine, cos the same reason u never made d mbbs list during admission, wld also be d reason why u won't be allowed to cross over to medicine.

That's just d logic.

You heard it here first... You can't cross over from one course to the other anymore.... It has been phased out....
