Hey Car Dealers.
Here is my challenge. In the past two weeks, i have been on the hunt for a CLEAN TITLE of any of the above ride, of the almost ten units i have inspected around Lagos, and i must confess some of them look as if they were just rolled out of the manufacturer's show room, but strangely once i pick up the VIN and get the Autocheck report, all i see is SALVAGE/TOTAL LOSS/COMPLETE DAMAGE titles.

@OP: It is nice to see someone in my shoes. Its either the cars have been declared 'total loss' or the mileages have been reversed by 100k miles. God save us. I'm in the market for an 07 Camry or an 09/10 Corolla. I can't pre-order cos I've already sold my 07 Corolla. Man no go fly bike go work next week na.

You can't even see a REBUILT TITLE to show these dealers are safety conscious.
There is one super mint looking 07 i inspected on Western Avenue, only to run the VIN report and fount out it's a COMPLETE LOSS TITLE with all the air bags deployed. I bet the air bags were not replaced after they coupled it together and shipped down here.

Ok, let me expand my choice, i'm including 2009-2011 Accord or Camry (Less than 1year registered in Nigeria, but still Carfax report must be CLEAN TITLE)

Some cheap cars are ones with serious damages , while slightly dented ones are costlier and people go for cheap ones cos they look good without thorough checks. Will get back to you on your request. 05-07 accord ex toks, reg 09 -11 accord or camry. 07 camry toks.

@ OP: ofcourse there are clean title cars available but you go waka small. Few Dealers sell Clean Title Cars cos larger percentage of Nigerian Car buyers are looking for cheap cars irrespective of the Title. Remember,Clean Title Cars are not cheap to buy
Not all salvage cars are as bad as the Carfax depict but you can ask the dealer some questions about it and probably request for pre-purchase accidented pictures. Don't rely solely on Carfax Report as a deciding factor cos "not all accidents are been reported to Carfax/Auto-Check". To pre-order (or buy any in *NG*) a Clean Title 05 Accord will cost you an average of #1.7m while 07 Clean Title Accord is a little above #2m. How many Nigerians will afford to buy such when a salvage 08 Accord also sells for almost the same price

I believe we are on the same plate.
Experience has shown me that over 90% of imports are junks for the 'average Nigerian buyer', and that's why i'm looking for a dealer like you that can throw his hat in the ring and get me a CLEAN TITLE!
My first car was a one-owner used CLEAN TITLE, so i can't do less this time.
