Every blogger and webmaster wants traffic. Then more traffic. And then again, some more! But that could be detrimental to your site's health as a whole and may even lead to the 'death' of your blog! This is the case every year with JAMB when registration peaks or results are released. In simple terms, 'the server is overloaded!'

Now, how is that? Simple: if you run your site on a shared hosting plan, then, an upsurge in your traffic may actually deny bandwidth to other sites hosted on the same server...most hosts would simply suspend your site in that instant. Guess what: you'll simply be offline!

So, what could be the solution? Or how do you prepare for an upsurge of traffic that your server can handle and serve all requests? The answer is here: http://notopoverty.com/can-your-hosting-plan-handle-more-traffic/

you provided the answer to the problem in your intro.
Just get a dedicated hosting, innit?

Why go to your blog again?

Sometimes the lack of manners by Nigerians really bothers me - everything is expected for free!

If I have researched and brought out solid alternatives (apart from dedicated hosting), what makes you believe I should simply share it here and just contribute to Oga Seun's pageviews?

That's lame - if you want the full gist (dedicated hosting is quite expensive for the majority of bloggers for your information), you simply have to click, yes, click on that link. Or pass silently and miss out!

Last I checked, it's only in Nigeria that we expect something for nothing! This ain't some charity or a socialist state!!
