Our client, the world’s leading provider of ship power solutions and flexible power plants for the decentralized power generation market is starting operations in Calabar, Nigeria. Their operations includes engines, generating sets, reduction gears, propulsion equipment, automation and power distribution systems as well as sealing solutions for the marine industry.
Their expertise solutions also include baseload power generation, grid stability & peaking, industrial self-generation for the oil and gas industry.

The open positions are:
1. Plant Manager
Responsibilities: - Overall management of the plant
Required: - 8 – 10 years of experience in Power plant or marine operations management

2. Operations & maintenance Manager
Responsibilities: - Overall management of the plant maintenance and operations
Required: - At least 5 years of experience in Power plant or marine operations management

3. Security Manager
Responsibilities: - Overall security management of the plant
Required: - 3 - 5 years of experience in security management

4. Purchasing & Logistics Manager
Responsibilities: - Responsible for all purchasing/ logistics and administration duties of the plant
Required: - 3 - 5 years of experience in purchasing, logistics and administration

5. Accountant
Responsibilities: - Responsible for all financial administration and controls of the plant
Required: - 5 – 10 years of experience in financial management

6. Shift Supervisors (Mechanical, Electrical, industrial, Chemical)
Responsibilities: - Operate the facility according to company policy
Responsible for managing maintenance technicians
Assist operations manager as required
Required: - At least 4 years of experience in power plants or marine industry

7. Maintenance Technician
Responsibilities: - Manage assigned maintenance responsibilities
Responsible for all activities relating to the daily maintenance management
Required: - 2 – 3 years of experience in power plants or marine industry

8. Plant Operator
Responsibilities: - Manage assigned maintenance responsibilities
Responsible for all activities relating to the daily maintenance management
Required: - At least 5 years of experience in power plants or marine industry

9. Store/Tool Keeper
Responsibilities: - Responsible for the distribution, reception, storage of all materials
Required: - At least 5 years of experience in distribution, reception and stock supervision

10. PLC/IT Engineers
Responsibilities: - Responsible for the operations, and resolution of abnormalities that may occur in the plant
Required: - At least 2 – 3 years of experience in similar roles
