Who do we pay money to for this lands, and how do we know that the next lagos govt will not buy bulldozers to destroy properties built on these lands?
Re: a by tonidol: 2:34pm On Sep 03, 2008
Which one is PRO again? Is the payment in favour of Lagos State Government? I need to get in touch with Fashola to explain this and if l don't get a quick response, This day will help to ask him.
Re: a by Ebedi: 6:03pm On Sep 03, 2008
Dr. Balogun, I am so disappointed that you can put this type of document on the internet. This is a disgrace to Lagos State Government. Please give us some explaination on this, otherwise, I will be obliged to escalate this issue.
Re: a by abujabooks(f): 10:24am On Sep 04, 2008

Don't keep Nairalanders in the dark. Is it a scam, so that people can know?
Re: a by textington: 12:14pm On Sep 04, 2008
@ all
Just likeegbedi said.
The PRO is the egunje for person who Mr Balogun who posted the message
and of course for the boys in land allocation committee who will do the real work
as Mr balogun dept in environment has no business with land allocation
i know because i just paid for 2 plots at mosafejo badagry scheme and i had the settle
the scheme officer for the allocation or also the admin guys in land allocation commtte
for good placement of the plots even though I'm a lagos statepublic servant.
Facilities usually in place at just graded road, itnot a site and service scheme.
Re: a by eaz(f): 7:18pm On Sep 04, 2008

Re: a by Guk: 10:21pm On Sep 15, 2008
Let me start by saying that i am not an Advocate for Dr. Balogun. He belongs to a system that encourages such practice. HOW?
Lagos State Employees are entitled to buy land from their employer at 40% less than is adverised on their website http://www.lagoslands.net/ so, all the guy is doing is selling the land to you are the correct price but he's buying at 40% less. SIMPLE!!!

The egunje that is collected in the name of PR is just sheer wickedness, because you are expected to pay that amount regardless of whether you are an employee of Lagos state or not & its at least 150k.

If you want to buy land in Lagos state, there is no hurry as Gov Fashola is setting up 7 satellite towns of not less than 500 hectares each BUT WHAT I NEED YOU ALL TO BE AWARE OF IS WHAT THEY CALL "Land Charges" during Tinubu's regime, it was bn increased at will & i ended up forfeiting my Abijo GRA land becos it was increased from 1.5m to 5.5m & we were asked to pay the diff within 90days, so pls, CAVEAT EMPTOR.
Re: a by Ebedi: 11:27pm On Sep 15, 2008
Thanks GUK for sharing your experience. I bought Abijo GRA as well. I was asked to pay 1.5M within 90 days, I paid the money within 30 days. All of a sudden, I learnt that there was a mistake as Alausa and I was told the new price is 5.5M. Have you been able to collect your 1.5M back. Please enlighten because my 1.5M is still with then since 2002.
Re: a by Guk: 12:04am On Sep 16, 2008
Ebedi, I found it unfair & unreasonable to ask me to pay such an amount (4m) within 90days way back in 2002.
My allocation paper clearly stated that i had paid the 1.5m & had NIL to pay only for me to see my Plot & Block number in the national dailies so i promptly applied for a refund which took 5 months.

My piece of advice is to go to NTDA & ask for more time to enable you pay the difference as ABIJO GRA now goes for N6M (LASG) or worst case, ask them to give you another piece of land worth what you have paid. All the Best
Re: a by Ebedi: 3:39pm On Sep 16, 2008
Thanks GUK. I will try and apply for a refund. I am not interested in dealing with a Government that doesn't have fair of God. If a Government can do this; then, it is an encouragement OMO ONILES to do worse. This ridiculous.
Re: a by tommyex(m): 8:20am On Sep 20, 2008
