A. Reservation Manager / Yield Manager

Reports to: Room Division Manager / GM

Responsibilities
o Manage rooms inventory to ensure maximum hotel occupancy at highest possible level.
o Compile sales and marketing statistics with regard to key accounts and rooms sold, etc.
o Monitor and analyse trends
o Fiscal responsibility i.e. work to budget, reporting against budget
o Ensure smooth running of reservations department with respect to prompt and accurate responses to guests
o Ensure accuracy of reservation information
o Updating rates
o Effectively manage people in order to maximise their effectiveness and develop their potential.

Educational: B.Sc/HND in any of the social sciences from a reputable institute of higher learning. Member of the Nigerian Hotel & Catering Institute an added advantage.

Work Experience: Minimum of 6 years relevant experience. Should understand hotel revenue management or travel sales and marketing strategies in maximising revenue


B. Night Manager

Reports to: Front Desk Manager, GM

Responsibilities
o Relieves night manager
o Manages hotel between 9.00pm – 6.00am
o Manages night auditor, night switch board operator, night driver, night porter, night receptionist/cashier
o Oversees that other departmental staff working nights are performing to company standards
o Ensure all areas are adequately staffed
o Performs night audit
o Achieve and maintain maximum guest contact whenever possible to ensure the highest standard of guest satisfaction is achieved
o Deal with all guest complaints promptly
o Management handover at 6.45 daily
o Maximise occupancy my monitoring availability regularity
o Perform cash-up procedures
o Responsible for security of premises and guests.

Educational: B.SC/HND in Social Sciences from reputable university
