I've heard of Sango, Amadioha etc but there seems to be no god attached to the hausa ancestry, why? Do they have any form of traditional religion/god besides the foreign religion majority of them presently practice? |

there are hausa animists, of course they no go show face because of sharia

Were the popular before the advent of sharia? So, they had a traditional god before the Islamic god took over? Thanks for the info. |

they are pretty much underground just like the spiritualists in senegal, mali and other predominantly muslim countries. most nigerians are one leg in-one leg out. nigerians usually dabble in both animism and monotheism at the same time(usually denying the earlier). |
