I have this error message displaying on my laptop and I cannot boot it. Does anyone know what I can do to start my machine? I have got to the recovery console but it is refusing to accept my password. Any suggestions will be appreciatet missing or corrupt <windows root>\system32\hal.dll. |

Femzy Windows Xp It is sorted. Do not ask me how. I don't know But I have been dooing some stuff, I guess it was the media direct button that caused the trouble for me. I pressed the MD button instead of the power button and that stupid message came up. I went back and pressed it and it booted back Thanks |
