With less than 48 hours to bid 2006 World cup bye-bye, FIFA had released 6 names of young outstanding talents in this tournament.

In your opinion, Who do you think will win?

The nominees are:

1) Cesc FEbregas [Arsenal & Spain,

2) Lionel Messi [Barca & Argentina,

3) Christiano Ronaldo [ Manchester United & Portugal],

4) Luis Valencia [ Recreativo Huelva & Ecuador],

5) Lucas Podolski [ FC Cologne & Germany] and

6) Tranquillo Barnetta [ Bayern Leverkusen & Switzerland]

In my opinion, Christiano should win it easily but he is Public enemy No 1 in England and he has to contest with home-boy Lukas.

@ Akola,
We don't care Podolski beat Cristiano Ronaldo to the award.
Everyone knows Ronaldo played better than any young player in this tournament and he has increased his own market value which is the main objective.
Real Madrid will have to break the bank to prise Cristiano outta Old Trafford if they want him.
Podolski can swallow the award for all i care.
MAN U FOR LIFE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We all know Christiano ronaldo was robbed of the award,
because going by the votes, as at yesterday,
Christiano was leading with over 210,000 votes which was about 27%,
while Podolski was trailing far behind with only 54,000 votes which was about 7%,
Then we wake up today and find out it was given to lucas,s
Was that some kind of consolation or what, ? cool
