Our client, one of the biggest and most competitive Microfinance banks in Nigeria with the goal of being a reference point for Microfinance Banking Services in the country is look to expand its operations. To ensure an even more aggressive take off of operations, the Bank is looking to fill the following positions within its organisation structure:

PLS NOTE: A sound understanding of the Nigerian Microfinance banking sector would be a distinct advantage. This applies to all underlisted positions

REGIONAL MANAGER
Core Functions for this position are:
 Manages the loan portfolio
 Makes and services a variety of large and often complex loans to customers within defined market.
 Provide leadership and direction to a team of Area Managers in the assigned region.
 Responsible for growing branch business sales and revenue growth in assigned region
 Supervises subordinate officers and support personnel.
 Functions as a financial advisor regarding the full array of bank products and services that will meet client needs within the region
 Ensure compliance with operations, credit and human resource policies and procedures

Qualifications
 Bachelor's Degree in a business related field
 MBA would be an added advantage
 9-10 years experience in a sales management/supervisory capacity in a financial institution
 Thorough knowledge of loan documentation (including legal aspects of loan transactions), policy and regulations

Person Specifications
 Excellent understanding of credit underwriting and complex accounting issues
 Excellent communication skills with the ability to prepare and deliver persuasive oral and written reports and presentations
 Leadership ability and team building skills; ability to manage mid-level professionals
 Extensive knowledge of sales management techniques and concepts relating to commercial lending
 Demonstrated capacity to sell within the financial services industry

Head, Credit & Risk Management – MFB 001
Core functions for this position are:
• Manage the Bank’s credit portfolio.
• Design, implement and review bank’s credit policies in line with best practice in Microfinance.
• Proper assessment of credit requests, detailing appropriateness of loan size, purpose and tenor.
• Manage and ensure prompt repayment of loans disbursed to Bank’s clients.
• Monitor loan performance, generate reports and keep delinquencies within acceptable limits set by the Bank.

Qualifications
• Bsc/HND in Accounting, Banking & Finance or related discipline.
• A professional qualification (ICAN, ACCA, CIBN)
• A Masters degree will be an added advantage
• 8-10 years experience in a financial institution
• 4 years loan administration & Business Development experience
• Knowledge of Microfinance credit operations & Portfolio-At-Risk (PAR)

Person Specifications
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills.
• A keen eye for details
• Between 33 - 40 years of age.

LEGAL MANAGER – MGT 004
Core Functions for this position are:
 Manages the activities of the legal staff.
 Assists upper management in providing legal advice and counsel on handling litigation and other legal matters involving the company.
 Assists in developing and modifying policies and procedures to conform to legal requirements.
 Drafts, reviews, or revises various company documents.
 Participates in complex legal projects

Banking Operations Officer – RMF 001
Core functions for this position are:
• Oversee day-to-day running of the Operations department of the branch.
• Have oversight functions on all tellers/cashiers to ensure that transactions are posted accurately.
• Exercise dual control over branch vault; responsible for keeping vault within approved limits.
• Responsible for the integrity and correctness of transactions processed within the branch.
• Act as number one Customer Service Officer, ensuring that all customer needs are adequately attended to.
Qualifications
