Nlers, which do you find preferable, dressing in your Native attire or In westernized designed attire? To parties, church, outings, etc? I barely see Nigerians in Native clothings anymore. Na only skirts, tanks, shirts, etc, that I see this people wearing. Why? Is it because people feel the need to imitate the fashion of their new adapted area, or what? |

Am beginning to think so. Down South, they wear it everywhere. Up here, you barely see anything. [s]Maybe because it's a white-dominated area? [/s] |

Never been big on traditional. Always the odd one out in parties back home The most i wear is a kaftan or jalabia (for males sometimes) Ok i think i have worn bubba before I like my jeans and tees very much. People around here, yeah wear traditional with a western twist. Sometimes, its just little things, like beads, a hat, palm slippers, a shirt, gele sef on top gown |

i love to wear both at the same time, as in wearing my traditonal with a western twist, it's crazy what you can do with our native ankara this days. But iro and buba don't fit me at all, i feel and look older in it. I think it fits those with bigger bodies |

@original9ja dat wz funny, but when i see my mates with the bigger front and back in it and the way it fits them, omo i dey jealous o and not that mine is too flat o but it's just not my thing and i laugh at myself whenever i tie the iro and one part of it flies up. But honestly i wish it's not so, i love it but it doesn't fit me. |

Am not really a fan of native wear especially the wrapper and bubba, i have so many of it in my closet. every year my mom always make sure they bring me at least two natives wear from Naija, but you will never catch me wearing it, but i know it will be useful in the future. I love the skirt and blouse native with crazy styles, i had on one on my graduation, damn people were drooling when they saw me, i was looking stunning . But i will rather prefer English wear sha, becos am more comfortable with that |

I look gorgeous in native wears, especially trendy ankara with a western touch and beautiful accessories. I prefer going native on sundays and some fridays, I don one of my finest ankaras. If you get a good dress maker, some native attires will give you the red carpet look, especially if you have the body to carry it. |
