Good morning to everybody in here............. Hw as been the weekend?

I can clearly remember the period before I became a corps member. I was so excited about coming to camp as a result of the experiences my “senior-corps members” had gisted me about.
I had just finished from school and was thinking “What do I need to take when going to camp?” I did a little research, asked a few friends and after my experience at Kubwa orientation camp, I came up with the list below (I hope it doesn’t shock you).
1) Money: If you’re thinking of going to camp with the mind of “the Lord shall provide”, you might want to think again (I’m not against having faith oh!). Money is a basic and essential necessity at every orientation camp because you practically pay for most things (if not everything) you find there. At camp, money rules oh! and that’s the basic truth. Without money, mammy market will be like a mirage for you; toasting that babe will be as difficult as further-maths; over-sized clothes will be your trademark; owu (hunger) will kill you……the list is endless. So when you’re going to camp, even if you forget yourself at home, don’t forget to take money.

2) Your Call-up letter: If you forget your call-up letter, don’t bother going towards camp gate…just go back home or to the place you left it. Even if you live in Borno and you were posted to Delta, just go back and get your letter or consider serving with the next batch. Your call-up letter is like your passport to entering camp; without it, you’re just another Nigerian (and not a corps member-to-be). If you want to know the seriousness of “forgetting you call-up letter”, try going to camp without it, then come and share your testimony with me.

3) Your Luggage: The last but not the least is your travelling bag or luggage. It contains all the other things that you’ll need at camp. If you were so excited about camp and danced “galala” until you forgot your luggage at the airport/bus-park, you better go and beg the airport authorities or bus-driver to assist in locating your luggage. If you go to camp without your luggage, you’ll be like a confused man! And trust me; you don’t want to start camp on a bad note because camp has more annoying experiences to offer.

I think standard of living is the culprit.I did mine In Edo, it's makes sense from a socio-economic view point that it would cost more to register in abuja than any other state in Nigeria.
