Hello guys, I need you to advise me on this decision I am about to take.
I expect to see my call up number on monday when the comprehensive list is pasted by my school's DSA. Getting it now means that I can barely influence my posting, that is if it is even possible at all. As a corollary, I surmise I might not get any state in my geo-political zone.
The question now is "What is the implication of not reporting for service this batch and opting for remobilisation next batch?"
It is not that I am balking at the idea of serving in 'sambisa', but I need to be in lagos or anywhere close for something in December.
Please, sadiq, sabiguy and every other established and new members with pertinent responses should attend to this please.

Its offered as science course in FUTA though. Cuz we do a lot of computer works after we've specialized in 300L nd its a-5year course. Even during exams...though we do do few paintings at lower levels.

Nice one. Wish we did it as a course on its own. Though we did almost everything with computer, except for printmaking that's practical (such an annoying part of graphics). Mine is 4 yrs.

I was suppose to go with batch B 2014,but because I was posted to taraba, I decided nt to go, now am going with this batch C, if u don't want to go, u can always re mobilise, just make sure u return ur call up letter,or don't collect it at all cos I did nt collect mine, then make sure u notify ur student affairs unit in sch, dey will tell u what to do so u can be mobilised with d next batch and u also put pressure on them...just make the decision that is best for u

I later found my name in the correction list along that of my classmates, the whole thing is funny to me cos only 214 students got their mobilization number while about 1000 plus have one or two things to be corrected.

No. Funny enough...Art students aren't admitted and yu must have yur Chemistry and TD/Geography. Moreover, Industrial Design is like advanced Fine and Applied Arts which can also be likened to Product Design (Aesthetics) though with a vast knowledge in motion graphics (video editing, animations et al). Those who read fine and applied art need to go for PGD first before Masters in IDD.

Though a part of the course addresses Fine and Applied Art.
