Police Discover Ritual Killers’ Den In Kwara by santakris(m): 8:41am On Jul 01, 2014
The Kwara state Police Command yesterday discovered a dungeon of ritualists along Ilorin-Lagos road, beside NASFAT playing ground, with a decomposed man’s body.

During the visit to the discovered hideout of the suspected rituals, the abandoned estate, believed to be owned by an 80 year-old woman, whose was still held by security operatives, was surrounded by a thick bush and a narrow path.

It was also discovered that an National Youth Corps Service (NYSC) female member underwear (bra,pants) and face cap were discovered inside one of the abandoned room.

Similarly, a man’s decomposed body with a headless body and an amputated leg was found inside a room, while a rope tied in the room raised the suspicion that the victim might have been forced to commit suicide or that it was used in strangulating the victim.

While briefing journalists at the police headquarters, the Commissioner of Police, Mr. Ambrose Aisebor confirmed the development, stressing that the owner of the house has been apprehended and that she was still under interrogation.

“In our effort to rid the state of every form from crime and criminality, as espoused by the Commissioner when he assumed duty in Kwara state, the Command’s special under-cover agents, on 28\06\2014, at about 0.00hrs, while acting on a highly potent intelligence, discovered some uncompleted blocks of building along Airport-Eyenkorin road, near NASFAT ground, Ilorin, which was suspected to be the hide-out for criminals dealing in human parts”.

The Police boss disclosed further, that some items discovered included a decomposing headless body, human feet, snail shells, clothes suspected to be used in strangulating their victims.

He added that the case was still under investigation.

The Command also paraded one armed robber, Ganiyu Lawal, who was arrested for allegedly stealing a Toyota Camry car, with registration Lagos APP 645 AN.

The vehicle was reported stolen in Lagos state where the owner allegedly parked it.

The Police boss also paraded two male students of Kwara state College of Education: one Joshua Ayantola and Adebayo Adeyinka for criminal conspiracy and armed robbery. They were alleged to have robbed another student, Musa Azeez and others, allegedly and stole his BlackBerry phone,N1,000 and one Techno phone.

He said the suspects will be charged to Court after completion of investigation.
