Some of the best deals I've had were with cars like this that everybody was afraid of.

If someone is really interested, go on location to verify that the car exists, compare registration of the car to the drivers license of the seller, make copies of it and bring along a trusted friend before you hand over cash.

It could be a desperate seller.
