The reason why Mikel kicked against the introduction of Azeez was because of the physicality of the game. Ambrose had a bad knock from Matuidi and Ambrose found it difficult to keep up with the game. Next, Matuidi took out Onazi after two dangerous tackles. As soon as I saw Azeez preparing to come in, I screamed, "NO!" So when Mikel refused Azeez coming in, I was happy because Matuidi would have torn him to shreds. Yes Keshi makes the final decision but Mikel was his general on the field and Coach Keshi listened to Mikel's advice because Coach Keshi trust his judgment. |
