Its not a bad thing for you wanting a more payin line in IT but if i were a prospective employer recruitin for a position at I.T level, i wouldnt employ you. Why? You have no life goal! You just want a job line where you cn stack cash. Again, its not a bad thing in itself. Bill gate didnt start this way. Steve Jobs didnt start this way. There's difference between being rich and successful, success definitely brings wealth.

How about learng d science very very well. Then in your 200 and 300 level you learn how to program.
In your 400 and 500 level, you sweat it and create 1 application you can sell for money.
By d time ur thru with nysc, your not only postg cv,ur postg proposals.
