Its was waited for with all enthusiasm and divers preparation - i.e. The World Cup 2014!

Now, its done and dusted. Thanks to Brasil (the Host) and congratulation to the Germany (the Winner - their 4th actually).

Can we relates our different 'lessons learnt' from this particular edition of the World Cup?

Mine are:
1. A team should not be about (/around) a man: Many team failed in this World Cup because of this particular flaw - a good example was the host Brasil, Portugal and some others with latent flaws.
If Apple Inc. has been built around the co-founder Steve Jobs (either partly or wholey) may be it would have experienced something similar to this after the death of the genius inventor.

2. Look less on the monetary gain in any venture: We saw and heard how some teams disagree over allowances and other monetary concerns during the campaign. This in one way or the other causes some distration. Apparently, a serious team goes to the Mundial for the TROPHY and nothing less. What will be the worth of the cash prize after a decade? So look more for the main prize when you're going into that next veture.

There are more lessons I'm sure...let's share them!
