Title of position: Network Engineer
Location: Lagos
Mission/ Core purpose of the Job: (Short description)
To provide an all-round network solution implementation & support services.
Context: (Global influences, environmental / industry demands, organizational mission, etc.) ICT Industry changes and demands on customer requirements, solution implementation strategies/ internal organizational project/business dynamics. Key Performance Areas: Core, essential responsibilities / outputs of the position (KPA's)
Task Complexity:
* Installation, configuration and troubleshooting of Cisco Routers, Catalyst Switches, IOS/ASA Firewalls, Wireless Controllers & Access Points.
* Installation, configuration and troubleshooting of Checkpoint Security Gateways & Management.
* Preventive maintenance of Cisco and Checkpoint network devices.
* General network troubleshooting & management.
* Technical documentation and reporting of network services.
* Build, maintains and monitors client relationship to help facilitate delivery
* Manage on-going communication/feedback with project manager, technical lead and clients. Lateral dimensions of the position.
* Liaise with clients responsibly during project implementations.
* Work towards best practice & share knowledge amongst team
* Provide continuous improvement and innovation on implementation Qualifications & Experience
* Minimum of 2 years post qualification experience (Hands-on with Cisco and Checkpoint Networking)
* University 1st Degree in engineering or a related field
* Compulsory relevant professional certification ¡V i.e. CCNP, CCSA or equivalent
