A group of Chinese hackers calling themselves “Pangu Team” released the much awaited untethered jailbreak for iOS 7.1 and iOS 7.1.1 for Mac and Windows. It also works out of the box on iOS 7.1.2.

The Pangu jailbreak is compatible with the following iOS 7.1.2 – iOS 7.1 devices:

iPhone 5s, iPhone 5c, iPhone 5, iPhone 4S, iPhone 4
iPad Air, Retina iPad mini, iPad 4, iPad 3, iPad 2, iPad mini (1st generation)
iPod touch 5G

This jailbreak has been available for a while but surprisingly not many people know about it and I have not seen any prior posts about it on nairaland.
N.B:The jailbreak is safe(tested on my iPhone5 and iPad3.Just follow the tutorial in the ioshacks link in the previous post.

There are a lot of restrictions placed on iOS.Jailbreaking is a method used to bypass most of this restrictions and also to have access to the iOS system..The concept is different from the concept of rooting on android,linux or a mac though because iOS is much more clamped on than these other OS's..
And yes the bluetooth cannot transfer files generically..
