Six of Shaktar's Donetsk's star players have gone AWOL in France and are refusing to return to the Ukraine, French media partners Infosport and Canal Plus reports. The players missed a flight from Lyon on Saturday night after a pre-season friendly and five of the six players have been named, four from Brazil and one from Argentina. The players are Douglas Costa, Fred Dentinho, Alex Teixeira and Argentina Ferreyra. Donetsk is right at the center of Ukraine's current political turmoil and the tragic Malaysian airlines crash occured in the region All mentioned players are amongst the team's biggest stars and are likely to get suitors in the transfer market should they be allowed to leave. http://dayosports..com/2014/07/shakhtar-donetsks-stars-go-awol-in.html |
