A major brand in the hospitality in Port Harcourt is looking for a Restaurant and bakery manager for its Warri branch. The manager would be part of a startup team for the development of its brand within Warri and its environs.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
 A good first degree , Food & Beverage Management Qualification (advantageous)
 ± 3 years Front of House experience and general restaurant management
 Strong customer service background, ability to liaise with clients
 Good time management skills, Computer Literate (proficiency in MS Word, Excel, outlook, Internet),
 Ability to motivate employees to work as a team to ensure that food and service meet appropriate standards.
 Must be able to handle the pressures of simultaneously coordinating a wide range of activities and recommend appropriate solutions to restaurant problems
 Ability to coordinate multiple tasks such as food and beverage cost while maintaining required standards of operation in daily restaurant activities
 Applicants are required to be outgoing, extroverted and must be able to communicate with customers. Self-discipline, initiative, and leadership ability
Responsibilities
 Resolve customer complaints about food quality or service.
 Direct cleaning of kitchen and dining areas to maintain sanitation standards, and keep appropriate records.
 Arrange for maintenance and repair of equipment and other services.
 Prepare schedules and ensure that the restaurant is staffed for all shifts
 Maintain relationships with customers and staff.
 Monitor food preparation and cleaning methods.
 Implement ideas or products.
 Guide, direct, and train staff.
 Coordinate the work and activities of staff.
 Communicate with customers, sales reps, and suppliers.
 Have an experience in the operational of Food & Beverage Department
 Good managerial skills, team player, analytical abilities and sense of initiative
 Excellent organizational skills with an eye for details
 Assist the operations Manager where and when the need may arise
 To manage and direct a team essentially oriented towards customer service and satisfaction
 Sets standard of product and service in Restaurant
 Ensure all policies and procedures are strictly applied
 Manage shifts which include: daily decision making, scheduling, planning while upholding standards, product quality and cleanliness
 Maintain an accurate and up-to-date plan of restaurant staffing needs.
