The steps taken by National University
Commission (NUC) to ensure that its
citezens get the best ever education has
Led to the closure of The Evangel
University of America and Clinton
University Study Centre, Ojokoro.
At the Evangel University Of
America a fourbedroom flat
located at 2, Akinola Street,
Olufemi Estate, Egan,
Igando, the NUC officials
who were accompanied by
the Independent Corrupt
Practices and Other Related
Offenses Commission (ICPC)
and the operators of the
State Security Service (SSS)
arrested the one Dr. Philip
Nnaji who was said to be
the bursar of the school.
According to Dr. Nnaji he
was not aware that the
institution which was an
affiliate of an American
based University has no
license from the
appropriate agencies to
operate in Nigeria.
It was learnt that the school
has been awarding
diploma, degrees and post
graduate degrees in
Theology.
