gbengalite: Hi All,Take a sample of your product to them. If you are the manufacturer, they will also pay a visit to your factory inspection, plus you get a precise and more info from them. |

agonbello: Take a sample of your product to them. If you are the manufacturer, they will also pay a visit to your factory inspection, plus you get a precise and more info from them. The product is manufactured abroad and the client is only a major distributor in Nigeria. |

gbengalite:Then take a sample of the product to NAFDAC. They will subject it to laboratory analysis, and test it for quality and standard before they can start talking of getting the product registered. Mind you, f its a food product, make sure you take more than enough to them. They will have to subject it to kitchen/mouth analysis too. |

gbengalite: If i know the product i may give specific docs, but the general documents are listed here: 1. Power of attorney 2. Certificate of analysis from the country 3. Certificate of manufacturer and free sale cert 4. Depends on the products about 5-12 samples will be needed. 5. Trademark cert ( You can get this in Abuja- less than 100K) All must be notarized by the country approved Notary public. Official price per sample is N750K, so if it has sizes you will pay for the variants as well. Its actually a long process and can last between 3months-1.5yrs. My last product i registered took 7 months and i spent roughly 1.5M for the reg for a sample and 2 variants. Walk to Nafdac office they will help you more...wish gdluck |
