The Ogun State Government in a frantic attempt to prevent the deadly Ebola virus disease (EVD) from getting into the State, has ordered the Toll Gate along Lagos-Ibadan Expressway to be closed.

Traffic has been moving in only one direction: into Lagos. Cars are prevented from leaving Lagos across the border.

The Head of the immigration Department of Ogun State while addressing journalists early this morning stated that the action is the most expedient means of preventing the spread of the deadly virus into Ogun State.

He advised Commuters to avoid that route,which had become high profile as any journey taken on that road with the hopes of leaving Lagos State is journey in futility.
