Less than five hours after a female suicide bomber blew up herself at a
mega filling station, Hotoro, while in a queue to procure kerosene,
another female has blown up herself at the Kano trade fair complex
today.
The female suicide bomber, according to reports at about 2:00 pm
positioned herself at the entrance of the trade fair complex, close to a
shopping mall, where some security agents were drafted to secure the
area.
Immediately the security men noticed some foul play in the suicide
bomber’s attempt to mix-up with the ever crowded shopping mall,
promptly detonated the bomb, concealed in her Hijab and blew herself in
the process.
Contacted, spokesman of the Kano Police Command, ASP Magaji
Musa Majia confirmed that four persons, including two police officers
were injured in the suicide attack.
