information technology is too broad a term as it consists of varying fields of communication-computers, phones, fax, emails,connections,equipment etc- so u need to focus on a specific area. try this www.en.wikipedia.org/wiki/information_technology. u can substitute information_technology in the url for any other specific area that interests u. if u need to know how particular IT gadgets of services work check out www.howstuffworks.com.
