Messi Messi Messi.. Why Him by kocvalour(m): 9:16am On Jul 31, 2014
I was going through some pages and posts and
found some of us were worried that Messi will never
be the same and he has lost pace and motivation and
that he won’t be able to recover and the list goes
on………..

Seriously I never expected y’all to buy this Bullshit. Those who say that Messi has stopped
pressing and that he doesn't run are not watching
Barcelona for past 4 years.

All those people who doubt him can go watch the
5-0 El classico and the 3-1 UCl final and other
matches. Messi never used to press.

Occasionally he presses most often due to the
following-

-If he has lost the ball and there is a danger of his
team conceding due to that.

-When he becomes too passionate in between the
games and is annoyed at opposition having the ball.

-If the match is just too important and he has been
told to press a bit. Otherwise you won’t find him pressing.

He never does this pressing stuff for this will mean he
won’t have energy left when he will be really needed
in offence.Remember Di maria assist by him against
Switzerland. He ran dribbling past two to give the ball
to him, where do y’all think the energy came from.

Now try to recall the final,In previous six matches he
almost played as a midfielder,His duty was to link attack and midfield by taking the
ball from defense holding it till forwards have
occupied their position and then feed it to them.He
was playing like Riquelme, the traditional 10.
The fact that he was forced to score more than 70%
of Argentina’s goals, shows that he had the scoring responsibility too and I don’t know what people
speak about but I saw him press couple of several
times in the final.

Messi has a lot of fast twitch fibres, those who don’t
know what they are-They are responsible for your
speed. If you have more fast twitch fibres then you
will be fast with good acceleration but you will get
tired very early as they expend a lot of energy. But in
messi’s case they are even more different due to his Growth hormone deficiency problem. They provide
him very fast-quick acceleration but tire him down
completely after a while. And it takes a bit time for him
to get ready again.

It is simple ,if Messi decides to exert himself he will
injure himself for 2-3 months. Those who actually
watched Barcelona from 2005, always knew of this
kid who was considered the next big thing but
managed to injure himself for every 4-6
months,Wonder why?Because he doesn’t have your normal muscles .Guardiola changed his diet and told
him not to press much and use himself efficiently,as a
result We got the Greatest player of all time and there
is not a single player who knows how to use himself
as efficiently as Messi.

Sorry I
have written this too long. But this was my frustration
after World cup final. And you know what, I suffered
a lot as for 2-3 weeks I didn’t have the connection to come here and share my frustration with y’all. It is
possible some of you may be offended by my
post, but you know what I don’t care .If others don’t
care while hating messi,I am not going to care while
bashing Messi’s haters. Haters will hate but you know
what there will always be people who actually value what Messi does.
