For the past 2 months now, this our lovely rap battles section has witnessed a downturn in quality with different kind of avoidable discords, accusations and counter-accusations. These have divided the house into groups and have seriously dented the credibility of this section. The former mod was fired after discovery of ill-conceived actions against some members. However, this could not quench the fire as the ousted dude felt ashamed and did not want to go down without a fight. Flow for rank thread was picked as the battleground, unknown to many of us. Control measures were used but it did n't help as the battlers resumed their fiasco after thread-closed. By the time things got to be revealed, huge damages have been done to our dear section. Rap battles thread turned to where camps went to flex muscles with votes. This ate deep into the organs of this section, no thanks to known names who were surprisingly the culprits. Before even my humble self knew what was happening, i got caught in the supremacy fight web.

In the couple of days ahead, many steps would be taken to restore sanity and credibility into this section. If anyone wants to abide by the rules, you are welcome on-board. If you cant, you can go and may be come back in November. This is rap battle section but it does nt give you right to break posting rules. We all want a fun-filled section like what mukina2 and co had in 2006/2007 in which you dont need to belong to one group before you win battles. We all crave for a section in which a great newbie can beat someone who's been here since 2008. We dont want a section where if you can bite set up you can win or you bite part of punchline you are good to go. We dont want battles to be decided on how well you know the mod or number of alternative monikers you have built.
Things will change, since we know where the smoke came from, we know where to direct our energy and we wont care whose ox is gored. Any fraudulent member/vet would be tamed, in no time clean and better ones would be raised. I hope for the love of the game we would abide by the rules.
