In an interview which my good friend Joe Nick a journalist with "The Chronicles Magazine" had with David Sterling of EA Canada,this issue about Nigeria not being in the demo was raised.
EA sports Canada have said they are raising a petition to replace the eagles with the falconets,in an interview with David Sterling,a producer in EA sports Canada he had this to say;
David Sterling:"we are seriously considering that petition due to Nigeria's unstable squad and following the recent scandals going on in the NFF,such as the sacking of the NFF president and the termination of their contract with Adidas,we have a preset deadline and if we are to consider the inclusion of Nigeria,it would have to be the female squad,they are pretty good and we at Electronic Arts think it will be a good twist to the game"

Speaking further if there will be the inclusion of other female teams;
David Sterling:"yes,we are working towards that and if the petition should pull through and recieves the right reception,there would be more female teams in post-ceding versions and in the years to come"

Joe Nick:what if the petition fails?

David Sterling:"then there would be an unlicensed Nigeria or Nigeria would be totally absent in the game"
