Note that many 2008 cars were manufactured and on the road in the USA as far back as early 2007.  For example the 2009 Corollas have been available since February of 2008! If you'd like a 2008 model with 8,000 miles or even a brand new one, I could get one for you for an appropriate price. This one is well priced and certified. We don't do odometer rollbacks.

I also thought so too, first time I saw the posting.
I'm not so smart so may not really decipher correctly. But my impression is that this is an Autocheck report, as against the Carfax report that provides details of ownership titles/transfers (and associated mileages covered with each title).

As Jenju is my pal and a correct guy, I suppose we'll soon be getting some form of additional information (or clarifications). . .

This vehicle has never been registered to anyone. It is what is called "Manufacturer's vehicle"  - the vehicle was used by the Manufacturers, possibly for road shows and to transport their executives.   The buyer will be the first real owner of the vehicle - the car is the top of the line FX35, containing both the Touring and Technology package.

The manufacturers are exempted from registering the car so the carfax or autocheck report will be just like that of a new car - i.e. no registration history etc.
This car will actually be priced higher than some brand new 2008 FX35 models, if I decide to sell it in the US.
