Planning to merge the politics section with the culture section and call it Politics/Culture. 
This will result in a more manageable forum, which should result in a happier community for all.

Seun,plssssssssssssssssssssssss,don't merge them at all. Both are entirely different. We like them teh way they are. They are both two of my favourites on NL.
Some people hate politics but like culture while some others dislike culture and like politics, if they are merged together,the thread will not be of interest to these people again.
Both threads enjoy enjoy fair patronage/visits. After romance and sports,I doubt if any other section pulls crowd more than politics and culture. Pls let them remain distinct!!!!

Merge the 2 sections together and free some bandwidth.
Culture can be a sub to Politics the way Meet-Up Zone is to Romance.
I think education and career should also be fused together.

Even though posters do cross borders on these to roots, it necessary to keep them apart since they still have several differences. Differences outweight simillarities.

Politics And Culture are never the same, they even sound different and i think it would not be good to merge.

seun ,this idea is , ,the concept is flat,culture as a way of life, tells people what they should do and politics has to do with people who also live by these rules and make us do the things and help us lose our minds. i'm trying to see,culture is bigger and i don't think it should be merged.if you still decide to go ahead with your thing,"politure,curlitics" should go a long way.how will you define it?
