Ogun State Police Command has arrested a young

The incident occurred when the traffic warden was

driving his Mazda car with number plate BDG 24 CY

suspect hit the traffic warden and he(warden)fell on
the bonnet of the car.
He said, “The suspect kept on driving for a
distance, more than 4km,with the traffic warden on
his bonnet, shouting on top of his voice that ‘I will
kill you’.
“It took the efforts of the members of the public
and other police men on patrol, who were called, to
rescue the traffic warden from the man in the
Kemta Idi Aba jungle, where he drove into.”
The suspect, who was heavily drunk, is a technician
with ordinary national diploma in Business Studies
from the Lagos State Polytechnic, and hails from
Imo, Abeokuta, in Abeokuta South Local
Government of Ogun State.
The Commissioner of Police, CP Ikemefuna Okoye,
has directed thorough investigation into the matter
and that the suspect be subjected to some medical
