We are a mobile DJ and PA equipment hire business that caters to events in Lagos. We offer to our customers a Public Address System , Lightning Setup, and DJ services.

We are looking for 4 existing DJs who have an interest in a wide of music genres, and are both confident and outgoing. We are looking to hear from people who have had some experience as a mobile DJ, and are able to mix songs.

The events we cater to can vary from birthday parties, weddings, bars, corporate events, and even the odd show.

To be successful at this job you will need to have a good sense of timing. Be technically-minded as you will need to understand how to setup and take down our equipment. Be confident using either CDs or MP3s, and a range of equipment such as turntables, mixers, microphones and amplifiers.

We the business will have all equipment setup and in place for the event, and anyone of our part time DJs will then be expected to play his or her music using our equipment.

In this role you can expect a majority of the work will be mainly in the evenings and at weekends, often until the early hours of the morning.

To be a one of our mobile DJs we would expect you to have:

A keen interest in and enthusiasm for music
Have the ability to create mixes
Have a good understanding of either Traktor, Serato, or Virtualdj
Have own music library
Have own turntables or midi controller or method of playing music
A confident and outgoing personality
A good sense of timing and co-ordination
Some understanding of technical equipment
The ability to ad-lib and ‘think on your feet’
Calmness under pressure
The ability to work to strict deadlines
Multi-tasking ability, for operating equipment
Be able to manage your own time

This role is part time on contract role, as such you will be paid only when you work. Also jobs will be allocated to you once you have agreed you are available to do the job. We will have a team of 4 DJs with any 2 covering any one event at any time.

Remuneration starts from around the N10K depending on experience, and type of event.
